A few days ago, a press conference for the China (Beijing) International Exhibition of Construction Machinery, Construction Materials Production Equipment, and Mining Equipment (BICES 2025) was held in Beijing. "In terms of the first half of this year, weak demand for some lines of construction machinery and insufficient orders have led to fierce market competition, product prices have fallen, and the problem of difficult recovery of accounts still exists." Su Cimen said at the meeting that among the 12 categories of counted product sales, the total sales volume of 11 main products in the first half of the year decreased by 10% year-on-year, of which the export volume increased by 2.23%, while sales in the domestic market fell by 18.6%." The report stated that sales of products in 9 categories showed negative growth, and enterprises still face many difficulties and challenges in operation, while the industry is developing in a better direction.
"Despite the intensified adverse effects of changes in the external environment and the grim and complex international situation, the technologies, products, and services of construction machinery in our country are becoming increasingly recognizable among international users, as well as due to the continuous improvement of the business structure of industrial enterprises abroad. Thus, the export volume of the industry in the second half of the year is expected to remain at a high level." - Su Cimen anticipated this.

It is reported that BICES 2025 will be held from September 23 to 26 next year at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Pavilion). "Focusing on the theme of 'High-Quality Green and Smart Future', the number of exhibitors at BICES 2025 will reach 2000, and the exhibition area will exceed 150,000 square meters." Wu Peigo, Secretary-General of the China Association of Construction Machinery Manufacturers, said that he will fully utilize five main advantages: industry advantages, regional advantages, exhibition advantages, brand advantages, and hosting advantages, and will carry out preparatory work.
